Frank Steffen, a master butcher by training, founded Maison Steffen in Steinfort.

HIS AMBITION: to satisfy gastronomic desires and please with local, healthy, tasty products of impeccable quality.

After winning a tender in 2018, the Steffen Group took over the station buffet to launch its restaurant, which combines table service and takeaway sales. On November 22, 2018, Quai Steffen welcomed its first customers to a takeaway restaurant, which was soon followed by the opening of the adjoining restaurant of the same name.

DIGITIZING THE CUSTOMER JOURNEY

Following the opening of its restaurant in Luxembourg station, Quai Steffen wanted to digitalize its point of sale, to improve the customer experience. Indeed, located in Luxembourg station, it’s a very attractive and competitive area where consumers are often in a hurry.

The company’s objective was to improve its internal communication via digital signage, enabling customers to view all products and menus, and save time in the process.

DYNAMIC LED DISPLAYS

To meet their needs, Le Quai Steffen called on Iagona to install digital signage in the ordering area. The restaurant chose to use Neoscreen5.0 software, which they liked for its simplicity, reliability and ease of use, as well as the ease with which the visuals could be modified. Within the restaurant, 5 x 42″ screens were installed in the ordering area.

Placed high up, the screens are visible to everyone, enabling customers to view all the company’s products and save time.
In addition, a 43-inch indoor totem pole has been installed in the restaurant to improve communication with customers.
